Delta Model United Nations (DelMUN) is a Model United Nations program exclusive to high school students in the Delta School District. Hosted by Burnsview students, this will be Delta’s first-ever Model United Nations conference. The assembly aims to simulate world diplomacy, inspiring delegates to become more aware, more educated, and more thoughtful global citizens in an increasingly complex world.

Delegates at DelMUN are immersed in a fast-paced environment of like-minded individuals, working together to create practical and dynamic solutions to the world’s most pressing problems. Our engaging committees and current-day topics allow students to think critically, collaborate with others, propose constructive resolutions, and develop the diplomatic skills that are more important than ever. DelMUN is a strong building block for students of all experience levels wishing to explore their interests in diplomacy, politics, and global issues.

Our secretariat is comprised of Burnsview students selected based upon their Model United Nations and debate experience and expertise. The foundations of DelMUN – an assembly of dedicated delegates, an atmosphere of progress, and a high quality of debate – create an open starting point to students wishing to explore diplomacy and encourage global change without the pressure of expensive and larger conferences.
